图书馆由来

 

三清道教图书馆创建于2008年，是本地首间以道教书籍为收藏重心的图书馆，宗旨在于提供道教经藏、论书以及视听设施，以促进公众对道教的认识和研究。

目前图书馆藏书近五千册，包括道藏、道教哲学、经典、仪范、历史、文学、艺术等类出版品和音像制品，以及与道教有关联性的中医、堪舆、民俗、卜筮、民间信仰等书籍。

图书馆也收集新马、大陆、台湾和香港等地的宫观和社团的出版物，以及各地的道教期刊近三十种两百多册，另有道教音乐光碟、道教影片以及道教学院举办的短期课程、文化大讲堂的光碟供公众欣赏。

About the Library

The SanQing Taoist Library was established in 2008 as the first local library focusing on Taoist books. Its purpose is to provide Taoist scriptures, treatises, and audiovisual facilities to promote public awareness and research on Taoism.

Currently, the library holds nearly 10000 volumes, including Taoist scriptures, Taoist philosophy, classics, rituals, history, literature, art, and other publications related to Taoism. It also includes books on subjects such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, Feng Shui, folklore, divination, and folk beliefs that are relevant to Taoism.

The library also collects publications from temples and societies in countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. It has over 30 different Taoist journals and more than 200 issues, as well as Taoist music CDs, Taoist films, and DVDs of short-term courses and cultural lectures organized by the Taoist Academy for public enjoyment.
